Daniel Hunter, AIA

Professional credentials:

Dan Hunter has been a practicing architect for over 25 years and has worked nationally and internationally with Corporate Clients in Banking, Communications, Entertainment and Technology.

Dan is a Registered Architect in a number of states including California, Massachusetts, New York, Florida, and Texas.  Hunter Architecture Ltd. has developed an active practice in Marin County, with residential projects ongoing in Sausalito, Mill Valley, San Rafael, Tiburon and Belvedere.

Volunteer work:

Dan is currently an active member of the Board of Meals of Marin, an organization that cooks and delivers 3 meals per day for clients who are unable to cook for themselves or their families due to life threatening illness.

He has participated as a resident representative on the City of Belvedere committee to mitigate construction impact, served as an organizer in support of the Upper Beach Road under grounding project, and participated in meetings with parks and recreation and neighbors regarding the design of the park at the end of Golden Gate Av.

He has also opened his home to the residents of Belvedere in support of the Historical Societies’ fund raising Tour of the Historic Homes of Belvedere.

Dan served on the City of Belvedere Planning Commission for 6 years, 3 years as Chairman.
